Save Money on Entertainment with a Netflix Free Trial Code

Do you know what a Netflix free trial code can do for your budget? Most families are cutting back on spending in every area they can. Entertainment is one of the first things to go because you can get by without most of the things in this category. You may slash your budget to the bone, but pretty soon you’ve cut out all the fun and your family is left with all work and no play. Just remember, saving money on entertainment doesn’t have to mean skipping it. You can still have great family nights, date nights or whatever you’re looking for, without spending so much cash.

Stay in with a Movie Rental

One of the most popular ways to save on entertainment is to replace theater movie nights with a stay at home evening and a rental movie. Most films come out on DVD quickly and you can find plenty that you missed in the theater.  This way they’re brand new to you and your family while offering the opportunity to save on expensive tickets.  You can also pass on the high-priced snacks and drinks and pay much less by shopping at your favorite grocery store.

Rental movies can even save you from a bad flick every once in a while. If you’re not sure you’re going to like what you rent, you can always get a back-up and switch it out if you don’t like your first choice. Netflix makes this even easier by offering packages which send out multiple movies at one time. You can select a few titles and keep them until you have time to watch them all.

Let Netflix Keep You Stocked Up

Using Netflix is the easiest way to stock up for movie nights. You can select your favorite movies and have them waiting for you when you want to watch. You never have late fees, so you really are saving money. Your waiting list keeps your freshly stocked with the next movie as soon as your return one. You’ll never have to worry about forgetting to pick up a movie at the last minute.

If you ever find that you want a movie that isn’t on your waiting list, or forget to add new films to the list, you can find plenty of movies and television shows available for live streaming on your computer. That means no last minute run to get something to watch and one more chance to save money. You might even find that you enjoy so many movies and shows on Netflix that you can cancel or downsize your cable or satellite subscription. Stack that savings on top of the money you save by viewing movies at home and you’re really starting to cash in.

The Truth Behind the Netflix Coupon Code Scheme

The Netflix coupon code has been around for years and, because of that, there have been some issues with the Netflix free trial. There are some rumors the free trial is just a scam to get people to sign up and then not let them cancel. In this article, we will put to rest some of the more common complaints.

Help! Netflix charged me on the second day of my free trial

Claim - Some people sign up for Netflix and then find Netflix has taken money out of their account the very next day. For people who do not have the $8 dollars in their checking account, this has triggered a series of overdraft fees which can really add up. This causes them to fire off angry e-mails and fraud letters to the Better Business Bureau, saying Netflix is involved in a scam.

Truth - When customers sign up for a free trial, Netflix places a hold on the credit or debit card for $8. This is a common practice among businesses, to see if the credit card is valid. It happens at hotels, rental cars and even gas stations. Debit cards do not recognize holds, therefore, the money comes out immediately. If you were to cancel the account, the money would return to your card. Unfortunately, Netflix cannot be held responsible for any overdraft fees you incur.

I signed up for with a Netflix coupon code but it started an account

Claim - Some people try to sign up with a Netflix free trial using a different e-mail thinking they can get another free trial. They use the different e-mail, go through the whole process and they find out they are charge for the month. Again, they are upset because they used a different e-mail wanting a new trial period and there is no warning that they won't get the trial month.

Truth - Netflix only allows one free trial per customer. They track this through both e-mail and credit card. You are not allowed to abuse the free trial offer by creating multiple accounts just to get multiple free trials. Attempting to do so will only get you charged for another month. You are still free to cancel at any time and it will only cost you one month.

I canceled but Netflix kept charging me for years!

Claim - There have been occasions where people have thought they canceled Netflix and it did not go through. Months and even years later they noticed and demanded their money back.

Truth - The canceling process is very straightforward. You go to your account page and click cancel. Doing so will generate a confirmation that you have canceled. However, it is your responsibility to make sure you are no longer charged. In every case that people were still charged, Netflix has refunded 1 month’s fee. Netflix will NOT refund more than 1 month’s fee. Therefore, if you cancel, the easiest way to make sure your account is canceled is to make sure you are not charged and, if you are, call them for the refund.

How Does The Netflix Free Trial Work?

How Does The Netflix Free Trial Work?

Have you gotten the Netflix free trial offer in your e-mail or seen it around and wondered if it is worth trying out? By now, everyone has heard of Netflix but not everyone is quite sure EXACTLY what it is or how it works.  That is why we are writing this quick article today. We want you to be able to make an informed decision on Netflix, once and for all, so you can decide if the free trial is worth your time and effort.

How Much Does Netflix Cost?
Before you sign up for the free trial, you want to know how much it will cost you after the 30 days is over. If you just sign up for the online, no frills version, then the price is $7.99 a month. That will get you unlimited TV episodes and movies streaming to your computer any time of the day or night.

What Computer Equipment Does Netflix Require?
In order to watch Netflix, you will need a computer, monitor and some speakers. Of course, you will need a broadband internet connection.

According to Netflix:
·     If you have a Windows operating system, you need at least 512 MB RAM, 1.2 GHz processing speed, Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Vista or Windows 7. Your browser must be IP 6.0 or higher, or Firefox 2 or higher.
·    If you have an Intel-based Mac, you need 1 GB RAM. Your browser must be Safari 3 or higher, or Firefox 2 or higher.

Personally, I have never had a problem on any computer or monitor. The one thing I have noted is speakers. The better speakers you have the more “theatrical” the sound. I can watch a movie on a net book, plug in some surround sound speakers, and it feels like I am in a theater.

How Fast Does the Internet Need to Be for Netflix?
To stream Netflix to your computer, you will need to handle a constant and steady download. The faster your broadband internet the better the quality of the picture you will have.  Netflix will automatically adjust the picture to match your internet speed so you do not need to worry about the specifics.

A word of warning, if you watch Netflix on a cell phone, you will reach your data limit very fast. If you have an unlimited data plan, you and watch Netflix a lot, you will find out quickly if you have a truly unlimited data plan. I have known people who were warned for using "too much" of the unlimited data simply because they watched Netflix a lot while on vacation.

How Can I Sign Up?
Signing up is simple. All you need is a valid e-mail address and a credit card. Your credit card will not be charged until after the 30 day free trial has expired. If you do not like Netflix, cancel before the 30 days is up and you will not be charged anything at all. Find all the latest Netflix free trial offers at www.CouponShoebox.com and don't miss out on any promotional codes again.
